Bravely Default Gets an Update in Japan

Bravely Default is one of the few titles traditional RPG enthusiasts in the west have been excited about. Although the game has been out on the 3DS  for nearly a year in Japan, North America won’t be seeing a localized version until 2014. However, according to Jump magazine Square Enix will be releasing an updated version for the Japanese market.

The game, titled Bravely Default: for the Sequel, isn’t a sequel as the title might have you believe. Instead, it features the original game along with new plot events and changes to the gameplay, such as faster battle options and more difficulty levels, amongst other updates. It’s scheduled to be released on December 5.
